Acupressure Massage
Acupressure massage is designed specifically for work situations. First created in the stressful work environment of Silicon Valley, USA, it is a combination of traditional western massage techniques and ancient eastern methods of Anma (from which Shiatsu is also derived).
I have had a number of massages with Emily, both at her house and at mine. She is amazing! The treatment is totally professional, complete with relaxing music. She will use as much pressure as you ask her too and she massages out those tension knots leaving you feeling so much more relaxed and healthy the next day. I can honestly say I have paid a lot more for massages in salons in the past but now I always use Emily because she gives the best massages I have ever received by far. A wholehearted 100% recommendation – you won’t regret it!
Emily has a magic touch, that leaves me feeling like a new and whole person again! She is incredibly in touch with the human body and it’s anatomy, giving extremely thorough massages. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a very warm and generous person, in whose company you can feel totally relaxed.
In practice you are seated on a Massage Chair and the therapist works through the clothing on the back, shoulders, arms, neck and head. No oils are needed and no undressing is required.
Acupressure works on the energy lines of the body, which concur with the main muscle groups, and apply pressure and soothing massage movements to ease and release pain and tension.
This method is often combined on request with Reiki and/or Sports Massage techniques.
The session can last between 15 minutes and half an hour.
Prices in the workplace 15min for £16 with a minimum of 10 bookings.
In order to work effectively in a workplace situation I need a small, quiet room and a contact within the organisation to take bookings.

Holistic Massage
Holistic massage is a therapeutic form of massage that works generally on all areas of body. Holistic means ‘whole’ (it has Greek roots for those interested in the Etymology!). So this form of massage deals with you as a ‘whole’. The aim is to re-balance the body so it achieves homeostasis or balance physically, mentally and emotionally. This method is recommended for those looking for a full or half body relaxing massage.
It is done on a massage couch with towels and oil.
I work from home and do some home visits depending on the location. Prices for home visits are on a sliding scale dependent on distance and time.
Sessions: At my home clinic –30 mins £30, 1 hour £60, 1 and a half hours £90.
Sports Massage
This is a preventative or remedial deep tissue massage.
Site specific, dependent on the patient’s needs, this is done on a massage couch with towels and oil. This method can be used pre- or post- event to ease the muscles and reduce the chance of injury. However, this method is also of great use to many people not involved in sport who have sustained a specific injury or have pain in a particular area of the body.
Sessions last 1 hour using a massage couch with towels and oil. I work from home and do some home visits depending on the location. Prices for home visits are on a sliding scale dependent on distance and time.
Prices vary beginning at £60 for 1 hour.
